With its clean and modern design, this lightweight self propelled wheelchair is super robust and easy to adjust to ensure maximum comfort for the adult user.
Available in two seat widths, it features an aluminum frame with multiple rear axle positions, adjustable seat depth and tension adjustable backrest upholstery, extendable from 410 mm to 460 mm for optimum comfort. The backrest can be fixed or half folding.
The height adjustable armrests lift up for easy transfer access and the footrest with swing away footplates is made of aluminium cast housing for greater stability. Footrests include heel loops or rear straps for added safety, to prevent the foot from slipping backwards.
The puncture free, solid rear wheels are 610 mm (24") in diameter, with a quick release as standard. The solid front castors (8 inch) have three height adjustment holes on the castor wheel forks. Brakes are lever style and easy to operate. Removeable anti tip devices are also included these attached easily to the rear of the wheelchair to prevent the chair from tipping backwards.
Lightweight and easy to manoeuvre, the Breezy BasiX2 folds for easy storage and transport. Available with a grey frame in two alternative seat widths of 40 cm (16 inch) and 46 cm (18 inch), and a red frame for seat width of 51 cm (20 inch). The assembled product weighs just under 15 kilograms with a maximum user weight of 125 kilograms. A user guide is shipped with every product.
This wheeled mobility device meets the design requirements and has been successfully crash tested in accordance with ANZS/ISO 7176-19:2008 MOD. This standard relates to the design requirements specified for a wheeled mobility device to be used to transport an individual in a motor vehicle.
